I think I saw WESTWORLD four times in the theatre back in 1973 as a twelve year old movie buff. This 70's Sci-Fi classic stars James Brolin and Richard Benjamin as tourists at the world's ultimate resort, where robots indulge your every whim. Yul Brynner is the robot gunslinger out to prove that something can DEFINITELY go wrong at the park!
Still a lot of fun, even though the special effects and overall pace seem pretty dated. This was Michael Crichton's first film as writer/director. He re-worked the same "exotic theme park where nothing can go wrong" theme a couple decades later as a little book and film you might have heard of called "Jurassic Park". Westworld spins a B for me.
Followed in 1976 by the far inferior "Futureworld".
