Michael Crichton is one of my favorite authors and I remember reading this book in the early 70's and liking it quite a bit. But what in the world have they done to it in this 1974 film adaption? This movie is Sooooooo Sloooooooow it makes me yearn for the action of paint drying. Director Mike Hodges has shown he can have fun as a director (Get Carter, Flash Gordon) but here, oh man is this dull. George Segal is a brilliant computer scientist who suffers seizures after a car accident that put him into a 3 minute homicidal rage. If boredom would induce seizures, I would have had ten of them during this 107 minute snoozefest. Terminal Man? I was terminally bored. A rare F.
