Well it's pretty hard not to enjoy a great ensemble cast giving it their all in "The Help". Emma Stone is very good as a young journalist embracing change in the 1960's south. Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer are terrific as the first two "help" to share their stories in the cause of advancing civil rights and human dignity. Bryce Dallas Howard is a great villain you will love to hate. Seems like everyone I know read the book last year. I didn't but enjoyed the film. Predictable? yes. Enjoyable and moving? YES! Help's itself to a solid B.
