From writer/director Martin McDonagh (In Bruges), the film stars Colin Farrell as a screenwriter with writer's block on his next project until he stumbles on the idea of a drama about seven crazy murderers with their own brand of issues.
The film deftly interweaves scenes from that movie in their heads with the writer's life as it rages out of control.
His best friend (hilarious Sam Rockwell) is a dog kidnapper, working with Christopher Walken (in full tilt, great Walken mode) on a petty scheme.
Petty until they kidnap the beloved Shih Tzu of deranged mad mob killer Woody Harrelson.
It's a wild, funny ride and I loved it.
Not for the faint of heart.

Watch for Tom Waits as a bunny loving killer and hide this film from the ASPCA....they ain't gonna like it.
