RED TAILS is a throwback to the best WWII films like "Battle of Britain" and "A Bridge Too Far". When this movie is in the air, it is AMAZING. Lucasfilm special effects are truly flawless and you've never seen dogfights this detailed and exciting. FANTASTIC in the air. Then, the story gets to the ground and it's decidedly less thrilling. In the end, the bravery of the Tuskegee Airmen really shines through. In the air: A+ On the ground: C Let's paint the tails with a solid B overall.
