This 1971 film won Jane Fonda a Best Actress Oscar and she deserves it. I forgot how beautiful she was in the early 70's! She is a WOW. A young Donald Sutherland is detective John Klute, investigating the disappearance of one of NYC prostitute Fonda's customers. The thriller part doesn't hold up very well and neither does the period music & dancing (haha), but the performances do. Look for Roy Scheider as Fonda's pimp! B-
