Don't Be Afraid of the Dark

Anyone else remember the ABC Movie of the Week of "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" with Kim Darby in the early 70's? Scared the crap out of me! Now take that simple little scary movie and hang so much extra garbage, backstory and clutter on it that it can't hold up and you have this 2011 remake. I expect more from Guillermo Del Toro, the maker of "Hellboy" and "Pan's Labyrinth". This is a mess. GREAT 7.1 sound and Production Design, but.......a C-
